Bionote: Livia Bellardini is a PhD student in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Roma Tre. Her project analyzes the role of temporality in the writing practices of Adrienne Rich and Claudia Rankine with the aim of revisiting the interconnection between poetic temporalities and extra-textual historical times. Her interests range from lyric studies, poetics, feminist literary criticism, and Caribbean notions of relationality. Her MA thesis – “Reconsidering the Lyric in a Quest for Inclusivity: Claudia Rankine’s Nothing in Nature Is Private” – was awarded the 2021 edition of the “Agostino Lombardo” prize from the Italian Association of American Studies (AISNA). In 2022, she received a dissertation grant from Schlesinger Library.
