Bruno Walter Renato Toscano is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civilisations and Forms of Knowledge at the University of Pisa. His Ph.D project is related to the transnational history of the Third World Women’s Alliance and Alliance Against Women’s oppression, two US multiracial feminist organizations fundamental for the well-know “intersectionality” theory. He is the author of the book “Pantere Nere, America bianca: Storia e Politica delle Pantere Nere” [Black Panthers, white America: History and politics of the Black Panther Party] (Ombre Corte, 2023), the first Italian book on the history and ideology of the Black Panther Party based on US’s archival sources.
