What, when & where
Call for contributions: “A diachronic approach to Ian McEwan’s fiction : from sensationalism to ethical writing.”
This call is for contributions to an ongoing book project on Ian McEwan’s œuvre. Editors are specifically looking for chapters that examine the earlier part of his literary output – his stories in First Love, Last Rites and In Between the Sheets as well as his novels and novellas The Cement Garden, The Comfort of Strangers, The Innocent – and some of his more recent work: Saturday, On Chesil Beach and Solar.
Deadline & how to apply
Abstracts (approximately 400 words long) should be sent to Drs Armelle Parey (armelle.parey@unicaen.fr) AND Isabelle Roblin (roblin@univ-littoral.fr) by June 20th, 2018 for an answer by July 10th.
If the proposal is accepted, the chapter will have to be sent by October 8th, 2018 so that we can get back to you in January 2019
